This is a full time position at our Corporate Office, requiring Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and pro-rate freight charges for incoming 3rd party shipments
• Create purchase orders in Eagle Software and verify Eagle produced receiving logs.

• Enters new products and weekly advertised sale items in Eagle.

• Maintain Eagle and print retail plant labels for nursery stock.

• Maintains and updates all nursery vendor files with current information, price lists and purchase orders in Eagle.

• Record all incoming nursery stock in master vendor sheets and buying books.

• Review and verify vendor stastements, resolve diescrepancies with vendor.

• Verify product received against vendor invoice and prepare invoice for payment.

Qualifications

• Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced, high volume work environment. 

• Basic skills in Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive) 

• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
