    Stauffers of Kissel Hill is a local and family owned company that values teamwork, respect, integrity, commitment and service.  We are currently looking for a Delivery Driver at our Fresh Foods Warehouse.  This is a full time position requiring Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm with some required weekend work required.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Cleans department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and display cases; keeping products and supplies well organized.
    • Maintains and operates equipment, ie electric jack, forklift, etc., if at least 18 years of age.
    • Packages merchandise according to departmental guidelines.
    • Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons and crates of merchandise, checking invoice against items received. Promptly clears floor of all restocking equipment and debris.
    • Unloads products from delivery trucks and transports them to sales floor or storage area.
    • Delivers merchandise to retail Supermarket locations
    • Inspects trucks for defects before and after trips, and submits report indicating truck condition.

    • Maintains accurate driver logs according to State and Federal motor carrier regulations.
    • Maintains the cleanliness of the truck.
    • Operates manual and electrical equipment to transport items to the pick-up area for delivery.
    • Performs general warehouse and property maintenance duties as needed.
    • Picks produce and grocery orders to be delivered to Supermarkets.
    • Verifies that the correct products are loaded onto the truck before leaving for deliveries.

    Qualifications

    • Valid Class A CDL Drivers License.
    • Ability to successfully complete DOT Physical and Drug Test as required according to DOT regulations.
